got called into work

it was an emergency and it had to be done by 2pm

she called me at 12:46pm

of course they didn't have any of the tools just regular screwdrivers but I did it with pliers

I had to move a bad ac and switch it out with a good ac

I finished installing the ac at 1:36pm and I didn't leave until about 1:50pm

that an entire hour of work a full $10

but I didn't clock in because I already have too much time for this pay period

it's a pretty weird feeling when you care nothing about work you are only doing it for the money and a little to get out of the house each day to enjoy being at home more which is kinda like money

but to work so hard and get so sweaty in 90 degree heat shirt drenched arms soaked dripping off your face

but to not even care much about doing it all off the clock

because it was an emergency and I don't want to work too many hours it hurts my ssi

the last guy would work without clocking in like I did today

and I believe it is because we really love our jobs

but he had retirement so he couldn't work too much or it would hurt his retirement

I have ssi and I can't work too much because it gets so freakin complicated

just kinda cool to have a job you don't mind working off of the clock in some situations
