Got injury to child elderly or disabled with bodily intent

Class c felony 

In July of 2023

Did 130 days in county  jail

Spent a couple thousand on commissary 

Paid 1,500 to bond out

Got on pre trial diversion 

Paid about 1,500 of it

Got almost all dirty tests and got revoked

Got a warrant went back to jail

Had to pay another 1,500 to bond out a second time

Got a decent lawyer went to court

Got luck with real probation and not the 4 years in prison they originally offered me

Paid 1,100 in court costs and 1,700 in supervision fees

9,300 and I’m sure there’s some im missing

I’ve been on this probation 5 months next month will be 6 and is a big milestone 

If I can receive an early termination from good behavior 

It means I could only have 12 months to go

Worst case scenario you add 6 months so 18 months to go

I’ve budgeted everything I’ve made plans

I’ve finished all my classes and community service 

By next month I’ll only owe 900 left out of the 9,300

All being sober has taught me is how much I want to stay out of this type of trouble for the rest of my life so I can keep smoking and drinking because no smoke and no drink is pretty terrible

It’s been 2 years since I’ve drank and not every day but most when I get done with work I want a beer

I definitely want to be on weed all day every day

And that’s enough to keep me out of trouble ever again

I should have enough money for every by the end of October or the first check of November 

Then I start saving up on the second check of November and start buying in December 

Thank god thca is going to be legal in Texas

I can feel safe with buying my pounds and holding them until I get done

Then make sure everything is finalized and start blazing hard hard
